Recently I launched a new website – www.underlabor.com.au – which will be an ongoing consolidation of the numerous examples of this Labor Government wasting our money on the wrong priorities while Australian families and small businesses struggle to make ends meet.
It is my responsibility as the Shadow Assistant Minister for Government Waste Reduction to highlight such waste and ensure that Australian taxpayers are aware of how the government chooses to spend our money. Every dollar that our government spends comes out of the pockets of hard-working Australians.
From the failed half-a-billion-dollar referendum to piling on an additional 36,000 bureaucrats in Canberra, the Albanese Labor Government has shown just how out of touch it is.
Australians are doing it tough and cutting back their household budgets during this cost-of-living crisis. The last thing they want to see is the government wasting their hard-earned tax dollars on the wrong priorities.
This website will be a clear and consolidated resource for every Australian to stay informed on wasteful government spending and a reminder to the Australian people of the dangers of a Labor Government.
