Through the Community Development Grants Programme we have successfully delivered $2 million to enable the re-development of Magill Road.
The joint project between the City of Burnside and Campbelltown City Council is seeing the revitalisation of the streetscape and will boost local economic activity.
This project will deliver significant economic benefits to the area, improving opportunities for local businesses whilst enhancing liveability.
The Magill Road Redevelopment Project is a key first step in delivering on the Magill Village Master Plan and will see the streetscape transformed with new lighting, street furniture, tree planting, water fountains, public art and bike racks.
The City of Burnside is working with the Campbelltown City Council on the project to undertake sustainable environmental practices through adoption of Water Sensitive Urban Design Principles and provision for green corridors with increased tree planting and soft landscape.
