Upgraded clubrooms for Kensington Cricket and Burnside Rugby

I was thrilled to secure $3.6m towards an upgrade to the Parkinson Oval clubrooms where the Kensington Cricket Club and Burnside Rugby Club are based.
Current plans will see a complete rebuild with modern facilities suitable for male and female participation in both cricket and rugby.
Built in 1964 following a grassroots campaign led by Sir Donald Bradman, the Kensington Cricket Club and Burnside Rugby Club have a proud legacy in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide. However, the clubs are in desperate need of upgraded facilities.
The clubrooms will also have community spaces available for local groups to use for meetings and events. I look forward to construction beginning soon on this community project.
